Is the floor in a high moisture living area?

If yes, for example a bathroom, you need to consider materials that are suitable for a moist environment such as concrete or tiles and make sure that the area is also suitably waterproofed!

Do you want a low maintenance floor?

Whilst carpet can feel nice under your feet, and hardwood floors look beautiful and classic, they can require more maintenance than tiles or vinyl flooring for example.
